Wordless Wednesday?

We are talking about having Wordless Wednesday posts. We are kicking around some ideas of what kind of posts to do. We are going to share some ideas that we are kicking around. We are also looking for your ideas as well. Feel free to chime in and let us know if you would even be willing to participate.

1)Each Wednesday someone posts a picture of their favorite piece of art work. It can be something you made, someone made to you, a picture from a museum and so on.

2)A picture of where you do your writing. Everyone has to write their blog somewhere. Would you like to see where your fellow writers do their thing?

3)What is outside your window. Post a picture outside one of your windows.

We thought this would be a fun way for everyone to get to know a bit more about each other. Katie and I would start out the first two Wednesdays and have you guys email your images of the theme.

If nobody is interested, that is good to know as well.

Let us know your thoughts on the matter. This is your group and so we want your input.

  1. I like it.

    Some additional ideas for pics:

Writing tools - Some people deck out their PCs. I know I have favorite notebooks and writing utensils that I use for different projects/types of writing.

"Security blankets" - I think every writer has one.

Pets - I know my space is not totally my own...

    1. Oh, those are clever. Thank you for the suggestions!!

  2. I love them all, I have pictures already for my yard so I would be all set to post that or the favorite picture. I take my laptop all over the house and even outside in the summer, to write so that would probably change everyday, that one would be harder.

Another idea; You could post a picture and have us come up with captions for it.

Thanks again for a great place for us non-mommers. :)

    1. You would have to take a picture of your whole house if you were to post where you blogged.
I like the caption idea as well. That would allow for much more interaction. Hummm.

  3. I like it, I just almost never post pics because my camera sucks. :)

    1. That was one of the reasons we thought of the piece of art people liked. They wouldn't have to take a picture.

  4. I'm a mom, so its not my group....LOL.

But I like your ideas... and ideas for posting online pics or recipes or what-not, for those who don't do the camera things as much...

maybe a different theme each month? Whatcha thinking??
